Throwback Thursday
One of the most amazing plays in Vikings history has got to come from the 2003 season during the closing seconds of the first half of a game against the Denver Broncos. Daunte Culpepper threw a long ball to Randy Moss about twenty yards short of the end zone; as defenders converged on Moss he lateraled the ball with one hand, over his head, sight unseen, to a trailing Moe Williams who trotted in for the score.
Update: As part of the NFL 100 Greatest Plays series, Minnesota Vikings WR Randy Moss’ lateral to Moe Williams for a touchdown against the Denver Broncos in 2003 made the list at No. 68.
