The Vikings traded the third overall pick in the draft to the Cleveland Browns to move down one slot and still get the guy they wanted all along, USC tackle Matt Kalil. In return for flipping slots with the Browns, the Vikings also got a fourth (118th overall), fifth (139th overall), and seventh (211th overall) pick. So, yeah; not a bad deal.
Kalil is 6’6″ and weighs 306 lbs. and has 34 1/2″ arms. Word of advice Kalil: Study Bryant McKinnie‘s game film…and don’t do what he did.
